Join us in making a difference for children in need.
Protectors of the Children, Inc., (P.O.T.C.) is an all-volunteer, charitable, non-profit motorcycle organization. The P.O.T.C. mission is to support, empower, and safeguard abused children and youth.
In partnership with established local and state organizations tasked with protecting children and youth. P.O.T.C. works to create safe environments for the children in our care, and shield them from further abuse, dangerous individuals, and dangerous situations.
When request by the parent(s) or legal guardian and the child, POTC will accompany and support the child at court, empower the child at home, and when warranted ensure the child's safety with our physical presence.
We provide ongoing support to children and youth and refer them as needed to services and resources that promote positive child and youth development.
Promote the awareness of the prevention of child abuse and neglect across the state and hold events with the community and our membership.
Eligibility for accepting a new child or youth includes that abuse charges have been filed with the appropriate authorities. The child cannot live with the abuser. The child must be in fear of further abuse/and or the abuser, fear of physical harm, or of facing/testifying against the abuser in court.
Parents and legal caregivers can call our hotline, and partners can contact us with referrals with appropriate consent.
Every member of Protectors of the Children must pass an FBI background check before receiving any information about our children or being in the presence of any of our children. Members are required to complete all required training on ethics, confidentiality, and organization protocols.
Help us continue our mission to make a difference for the children and youth we serve every day.
